Resolution

We believe that sound decisions come from disciplined understanding.

The word resolution is rooted in the Latin resolvere — to loosen, to break apart, to understand. The analytical act of reducing complexity to its essential elements.

That principle defines how we work.

OA&R provides facilitation and mediation services grounded in structured, impartial observations and professional independence.

We believe resolution should be proactive, constructive, and transformative. Our role is not to advocate, determine outcomes, or promote positions. It is to facilitate understanding; creating the conditions in which informed, durable resolution becomes possible.

Before agreement can be reached, complexity must be disentangled, positions unpacked and assumptions tested. OA&R facilitation and mediation focuses on reducing issues to their essential elements so that parties engage with clarity rather than defensiveness.

Our approach seeks to redefine ADR —Alternative Dispute Resolution— by removing the “Dispute” and focusing on Alternative Resolution, where collaboration replaces confrontation.

Why OA&R?

 Independent. Impartial. Outcome‑oriented.

  • Neutral & Confidential: We provide impartial, confidential spaces for resolution.

  • Tailored Approach: Every situation is unique; our services are shaped to fit the context.

  • Outcome‑oriented: We focus on practical, durable solutions.

  • We work with the parties to explore issues, understand perspectives, and co-create solutions.

From Resolution to Solution — the Oak way.
